Cali Scully currently lives in Pensacola, FL. Born in San Diego, California but turned Florida girl in middle school when her dad accepted a role hosting a morning show for a brand new Country radio station in Pensacola, FL. While in High School, Cali followed near to her father’s footsteps and took an interest in media and marketing and became the managing editor of her high school’s TV production academy as well as worked on the school yearbook and student leadership teams. Between those and working part time for the radio station on the weekends as an event promotion and brand ambassador, there was no doubt what career direction she was headed in. Majoring in Communications in College with a specialization in Public Relations. Throughout college, Cali took on multiple promotions at the radio station and went on to work as a receptionist, executive assistant to the owner and sales assistant. Upon graduation from college, she became the station Promotions Director where she had the opportunity to coordinate all the station’s major on air and in person events and promotions as well as be the liaison between the station and the many local not for profit organizations. After just short of a year in that role, Cali’s flare for sales and marketing came to life as she transitioned into a role in sales as an account executive managing the integrated campaigns for advertisers of the station group that includes on air commercial campaigns, website promotions, on site events, social media, influencer campaigns and more! Working with local, regional, and national clients to create customized marketing activations and campaigns. In 2019, Cali created and launched the station group into a multi-media approach by creating an online digital marketing initiative becoming the station groups first, Digital Sales Director. Between the years of 2019 to 2021, Cali managed a team of account executives that drove revenue increases of 100% year over year. In early 2022, she accepted a new role at Southeast Mortgage as our Client Acquisition Manager. At Southeast, she combines her interest in the real estate industry and marketing by being responsible for planning, placement, and management of all Southeast Mortgage’s online advertising as well as working with all our internal team and external partners on creating and developing their online marketing campaigns. Cali also helped Southeast with their online marketing for a couple years prior to joining our team full time in early 2022.
Fun fact: Her mom is one of our Mortgage Loan Officers and Cali began making loan packages as her mom’s assistant at the age of 7. So, the mortgage business has always been in her blood! 😊 But is full circle now not only working in the same company as her mom but working on the marketing team for that company.
Cali is additionally very passionately involved in the Pensacola community. Currently serving as a board of Governors member at Fiesta Pensacola, an event chair at Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, a member of Pensacola Young Professionals, a member of Positively Pensacola and recently nominated to be a member of the Greater Pensacola Chamber Leadership Class of 2023. Cali was named a Rising Star by InWeekly Magazine in 2021.
In her free time Cali spends her time soaking up the Florida sunshine however she can with her husband and two pups, Cooper, and Riley. You will find her at the beach, on the jet-skis or by the pool most weekends in the Spring and Summer and in the fall, you will find her catching all the SEC football action on Saturday’s and trying out a new brunch destination and walking the through a local arts or music festival on Sunday’s. She also loves to travel and is a foodie at heart, always excited to try a new restaurant in town or when she is traveling.
